I m...I believe there is a lot of freedom in doubt. I missed this episode of Krista's but I usually listen to her on podcast form while I drive back and forth to Missoula. The freedom that doubt provides is the opportunity to think outside the box. When we get stuck in a belief system that gives us the sense of security, we tend to believe there is only one way to believe/think which is why, I believe, our country is in the mess it's in. Only one belief system...must be Christian, preferably white, straight, whatever... Not what I believe. So when I doubt that belief system I am open to many other opportunities to learn, to grow, to understand different points of views. When I listen to my Buddhist teacher, he advises me to never have blind faith, to question everything. My belief system is that nothing is permanent and all things change. Do I question that? Absolutely! Do I have doubt, absolutely! Mindful in Montanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092726290301967894noreply@blogger.com
