Kanon and I were talking about it the other day and saying that he wasn't going to be found guilty. This continues to teach men that it is ok to rape and teach women that it is not ok to even believe the truth when you know you have been raped let alone do anything about it. And somewhere here among all this angry bull shit I have to think that we as women area failing. We are not teaching our children that this is not ok. We are half of society and many many women know first hand the bitter pain of rape. So why is it that we have not done more to fix this problem? Why are the numbers so staggering? How do we teach our children not to be rapists. We have focused on teaching young women how to not get raped. What about teaching young men not to rape? Obviously we don't do this.
