Today's appointment with our local clinic doe (awesome doc) was uneventful. As expected, we're getting scheduled for an EEG. That's way more of an ordeal than I thought it'd be. It has to be done at the hospital. There needs to be someone from the peds department as well as a respiratory therapist and the person doing the EEG. They're going to have to sedate Luken for the procedure. I'm less than thrilled by that idea. The local awesome doc is also working on a referral to a neuro doc. We don't know yet if we'll have to travel out of state for this or not.
So, there ya have it. That's what I know for today. I have a migraine that I didn't treat because I was so worried about Luken. Now it's exploded and I'm done for the day.

This is just awful. The LAST thing you and Kara need. I know I am far away, but my heart and thoughts are with you! You are doing everything right, and you got right on it. I wonder how long it would've taken me to realize what was happening. You are wise to sleep when you can! Rest well, dear friend!
